Mindful Kids Parents Night Out

Healthy Kids Day

Multiple YMCA locations in the Frederick area
Get fit as a family with a day of play at your local Y. Activities vary by location, with options such as obstacle course races, face painting, crafts, water safety demos, sports and games.

Frederick Running Festival

May 4 & 5, 4:45 p.m. (fun run staging call time)

Run a half marathon, team relay, 5K or kids’ fun run during this active weekend. The Kids Fun Run is split into two age groups: 8-12 for a ¼ mile run, ages 7 and younger for a Toddler Trot.

Bike to Work Day

May 17, 6-8 a.m. (departs 6:45 a.m. and arrives at 7:15 a.m.)

Register with your company for a ceremonial morning ride through the community on Bike to Work Day. The group ride leaves from Hood College and arrives at TransIT in Frederick.
