Kid-Friendly Events in Frederick County This Weekend

There’s something to do for all ages in Frederick County this weekend. From an Easter breakfast for the younger crowd to an educational event on driving for teenagers, kids are sure to walk away from these events with fun memories, and they might even learn something new. 

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Spend a day with the Easter Bunny! This fun children’s event includes a country breakfast where guests can take pictures with the Easter Bunny, followed by an Easter egg hunt and other activities.

Spring Fling & Easter Egg Roll

April 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Rose Hill Manor Park & Museums | 1611 N. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701

Celebrate spring and learn about local agriculture with the Frederick County Farm Museum! Take a hayride, meet farm animals and check out spring and Easter-themed gifts from local vendors. Bring your own basket for the traditional egg roll!

Teen Driver Event

April 12, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company Carnival Grounds | 1009 Twin Arch Road, Mt Airy, MD 21771

If your teenager is learning to drive, this community event is a great way for them to get a crash course in everything they need to know about cars! Teen drivers can take part in a parking clinic, simulate a traffic stop and try driving a golf cart while wearing drunk goggles. Guests will learn about car insurance, crashes, first responders and more as they navigate the event.
