Ice Block Sledding

Maryland Iron Festival

Blacksmithing has been a part of the state’s history for generations and is still a part of Frederick County life to this day because of the Catoctin Iron Furnace. See the iconic “iron pour” demonstration, shop metal products from local artisans, take a guided tour of Harriet Chapel and more.
