Halloween Fun in Frederick: Oct. 24-26

Halloween is coming soon, and these community events are the perfect way to get into the spooky mood! Dress up yourself, your kids and even your pets for a full weekend of family-friendly Halloween fun.

History Trick or Treat

Oct. 24-26, 3-4:30 p.m. Friday and Sunday; 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday

At Rose Hill Manor Park’s annual Halloween event, trick-or-treaters can learn about local history while collecting candy. Costumed characters throughout the manor will provide additional historical context about the area.

The Royal Princess Ball

Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

American Legion Gold Star Post 191 | 801 Prospect Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771

Kids can spend a magical morning with their favorite princess characters at this memorable event! Aimed at guests ages 3-7, this event includes a live musical performance from costumed characters, a tea party, a parade and more! Proceeds benefit the DMV-based disability nonprofit Caring Communities.

6th Annual Canines on the Creek

Oct. 25, noon-5 p.m.

Carroll Creek Park | Carroll Creek and Market St., Frederick, MD 21701

Dress up your dogs for a good cause at this event benefitting Leader Dogs for the Blind and other nonprofit organizations! Judges will be choosing the best costumes in several categories, giving additional points for homemade costumes.
