Sand and Sea Party at Dancing Bear

If you can’t make it to the beach this summer, Dancing Bear Toys and Gifts will bring the beach to you at this fun party for kids! The inaugural Sand and Sea Party features crafts and glitter tattoos, and kids can play with ocean-themed sensory bins. This event is recommended for kids ages 4 and older.

Free Park Ranger Program – Toad Abodes

July 25, 7-8 p.m.

Old National Pike Park | 12406 Old National Pike, Mt. Airy, MD 21771

Learn about the kinds of toads and other amphibians that live in Maryland, as well as the important role they play in the local ecosystem. Participants will also be able to make their own toad houses to encourage toads to take up residence in their yards and gardens!

Hayden’s Heroes Celebrates Hayden’s 18th Birthday

July 26, 1-4 p.m.

Hayden’s Heroes, a local nonprofit Histiocytosis awareness organization and charity, is celebrating its namesake’s 18th birthday with an afternoon of fun and games for the whole family. There will be train and pony rides, inflatable moon bounces, a pie eating contest and more! Donations are encouraged but not required.
