School may be out, but learning doesn’t stop during the summer! Fox Haven Farm is hosting a party with the Science Guys of Baltimore featuring an exciting science show with thrilling experiments. After the show, kids will be able to do an experiment of their own and make their own bouncy balls. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blanket and snacks.

Maryland Lavender Festival at Springfield Manor

One of Frederick County’s most anticipated annual events, the Maryland Lavender Festival invites guests to see Springfield Manor’s iconic lavender fields in full view, try unlimited lavender lemonade, browse goods from local vendors and more! It’s a great place to take pictures among the flowers, which are also available for sale in fresh-cut and dried bundles. Shaded areas are limited, so sunscreen, large hats and umbrellas are recommended.

Strawberry Festival at Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church
